Over the years the Anton Ohlert Co. has been engaged in the deliveries of high-tech packaging equipment of European origin to Russia & CIS states. 

It is well known that the packaging equipment is in keen demand among the enterprises belonging to the food industry; however, we offer a wide range of this equipment covering both automatic machines & packaging lines for food, fat-and-oil, pharmaceutical, confectionery, chemical, construction & other sectors of industry. 

Anton Ohlert is constantly customer-oriented – starting from the design stage to the manufacture of finished products. The main merit of our equipment is its flexibility, high capacities, protection of product & safety of the production processes. For several decades one of the main directions included the deliveries of lines for the production of metal packaging to the former USSR & nowadays – to CIS countries & Baltic states.  

First of all our long-time partner – Soudronic, the Swiss company, is worth mentioning. This company develops, generates superior concepts of contact welding for various applications, specific for the industry of metal packaging.  

Until late 80s of the ХХ century Anton Ohlert used to supply lines composed of the equipment belonging to various suppliers, in most cases independent of each other.  

Thus, Anton Ohlert supplied the lines designed for lacquering or printing to the USSR individually completing them with lacquering or printing machines manufactured by Mailänder, the German company, & drying ovens, manufactured by LTG, another German company. 

When these two sub-suppliers had merged into a single company the Anton Ohlert engineering was no longer needed. The end customer received a line “from a single source”, i.e. the LTG – Mailänder company. In 2006 LTG-Mailänder company joined the KBA concern which occupies a leading position in the world in the production of printing equipment for paper & cardboard.  As a result, the company got its new name, i.e. König & Bauer Metalprint. Today Koenig & Bauer MetalPrint is a system supplier of the complete lines for printing & coating in the diverse configurations.
