ProSweets exhibition is a sectoral meeting of suppliers, manufacturers & retail trading representatives engaged in the confectionery industry.

Dear colleagues, Tight anti-epidemic restrictions related to COVID-19 are imposed in Germany. We recommend you to thoroughly read them before your trip. The basic restrictive measures are referenced below.
If, for some reasons, you cannot visit the exhibition in Cologne you are welcome to the “Upakovka-2022” exhibition” in Moscow which also be attended by the representatives of the following companies-partners: Caotech, Sollich, WinklerundDünnebier, Theegarten-Pactec, Koenig&Bauer & Soudronic.
Rules & terms of stay in Germany
The terms of stay in Germany can be found on the present link.
When passing a passport control at the airport in Germany you need to submit:
- passport with visa;
- a letter–confirmation from the companies – suppliers with a specific date of meeting at the stand;
- round-trip air ticket (not exceeding 5 days!!!);
- electronic entrance tickets to the exhibition.
When applying for a visa or entering Germany you must furnish evidence that you will be present at the exhibition:
- employees of exhibiting companies must submit confirmation from the sponsor of the exhibition that they are participating in the exhibition
- visitors to the exhibition must present an entrance ticket to the exhibition as well as an agreement on holding a business meeting with at least one exhibitor on the territory of the exhibition.
COVID-19: visiting rules
- Upon entry it is necessary to submit a certificate of vaccination, recovery or negative result of PCR-test. Only people fully vaccinated with one of four vaccines recognized in Germany are considered vaccinated. “Sputnik” vaccine is not recognized in Germany, therefore, the Russian citizens are considered unvaccinated.
- There are no quarantine requirements for vaccinated exhibition visitors & exhibitors from high-risk areas.
- Before entering the country from the high-risk area digital registration is required.
- As an alternative, unvaccinated exhibitors may be placed under quarantine immediately after entering Germany & be released from quarantine not earlier than five days later with a negative test. After that the length of stay is not limited to five days.
For exhibitors from Russia:
Thus, citizens of Russia currently travelling to Germany must:
- daily do the antigen test in test centers; the price of the test varies from Euro 15 to 30. Daily test is valid for 24 hours.
- When booking a hotel on your own via the booking.com service make sure that you have booked the room by calling the hotel directly; look for a hotel next to which a test center is located within the walking distance as you will not be able to use public transport without test results.
- According to the hotel rules, unvaccinated persons staying in the hotel cannot have breakfast & dinner at the hotel, i.e. it will be necessary for them to buy foodstuffs in the supermarket & eat in their rooms.
- Unvaccinated persons are not allowed to enter trading centers, restaurants, bars, museums.
Food supermarkets, pharmacies, bookstores & flower shops are free to visit provided the negative PCR test is available.
