Anton Ohlert company has signed a contract with AS Thai Works (ASTW), Thailand, a manufacturer of equipment and complete lines for the production of fishmeal, fish oil, meat and bone meal and fat from waste of meat and fish production, for representation in Russia and the CIS countries.
ASTW was founded in Bangkok (Thailand) in 1984 as a production subsidiary of the Norwegian company Stord Bartz, a leader in fishmeal and oil production equipment, which launched its first processing plant in Thailand in 1986.
In 1998, this subsidiary was transformed into an independent production company ASTW, which was headed by its former boss, Mr. Sverre Golten, who is currently the owner of ASTW. His son, Mr. William Golten, is working now as Managing Director.
Up to now, ASTW has realized about 300 plant projects for the production of fishmeal, fish oil, meat and bone meal and fat, mainly in South-East Asia, as well as in Australia and New Zealand.
The competitive advantage of the equipment produced by ASTW is the Norwegian technological know-how, proven over the years, the use of industrial components from the world's leading manufacturers and the relatively cheap, but highly qualified labor force of Thailand.
A unique distinctive feature of ASTW is the implementation of projects by an installation team consisting of its own employees, which allows the entire installation to be completed in the shortest possible time and with the best quality of work. This circumstance makes it possible to provide ASTW customers with an increased (compared to competitors) warranty on installed equipment.
On March 12 and 13, 2024, a training seminar was held at the Moscow office of Anton Ohlert, which was conducted by the Managing Director of ASTW, Mr. William Golten.
Regional representatives of Anton Ohlert from Moscow, Tashkent and Almaty took part in the seminar.
Mr. William Golten told about the history of the creation of ASTW, about the specifics and technical features of the equipment and about the sales strategy on the Russian and CIS markets.
